Due to growth in our existing business and having secured a number of significant consulting contracts, we are seeking to recruit a Support Consultant to join our consulting team.
At S3 Solutions, we provide two distinct but connected services: Consulting and FundReady, two services dedicated to supporting organisations on their mission to deliver positive social change. Within our Consulting service, we are known for our highly engaging and accessible approach. Focused on applied social research methods, we embed principles of co-design and consultation to produce actionable insights and innovative solutions. Our range of consulting services include:
- Strategic Planning
- Feasibility Study, Business Planning, Economic Appraisals
- Evaluation and Social Return on Investment
- Research
The role of Support Consultant is a vital role within our Consulting Service. The role involves supporting the delivery of a broad portfolio of consulting projects and tasks as part of a wider team. This is an opportunity for someone ambitious and enthusiastic to join a growing professional services consultancy company with the potential for further role and career progression within the company.
**About The Role**
The key tasks associated with the role are as follows:
- Carrying out desk research on relevant literature, legislation, policy and strategy as it relates to our ongoing consulting contracts
- Carrying out market research to inform consulting contracts and also for S3 directly
- Carrying out consultations (telephone, zoom, face to face) with clients and stakeholders as part of research and evaluation processes
- Developing and distributing surveys online
- Data analysis of both qualitative and quantitative data to inform theories and recommendations in consulting reports
- Developing statistical profiles of areas, projects and organisations as it relates to our ongoing consulting contracts
- Contributing to the development, editing and finalising of written reports
- Administration tasks based on the needs of clients and contracts that the employee is assigned responsibility for
- Supporting the consultant team across all contracts as required including key administration and report writing tasks
- Working as part of the S3 Solutions team to promote the business and secure contracted work through quotations and tender responses
- Provide a high-quality customer experience for all clients
- Manage time efficiently and effectively, particularly with regard to work based deadlines
**Required Criteria**
- BSc Hons Qualification in a relevant discipline
**Desired Criteria**
- Experience dealing with public sector clients and organisations working in the sport, community and charity sectors
**Skills Needed**
