The ERSCP Partnership’s Business Unit is looking for someone to become our full time, level 2 Children’s Services Support Administrator. The unit is situated in the ERYC Safeguarding and Partnership Hub.

The East Riding Safeguarding Children Partnership (ERSCP) is made up of East Riding of Yorkshire County Council, NHS Humber and North Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (ICB), and Humberside Police. Their aim is to make sure that children and families can get the right support, in the right place at the right time. We are doing this by
- Working together to identify and respond to the needs of children in the area
- Commissioning and publishing local child safeguarding practice reviews
- Making sure of the effectiveness of the local safeguarding arrangements which are independently scrutinised.
- Ensuring administrative processes are carried out accurately and efficiently by checking, verifying and authorising processes.
- Providing diary management services to support the Partnership
- Preparing reports, letters and invites for the Partnership as directed by the Partnership Business Unit Manager, ensuring accuracy and distribution to agreed time scales.
- Undertake administrative activities including the preparation and processing of all necessary correspondence, documentation relating to activities undertaken by the Partnership, fully utilising systems with mínimal supervision.
- Attending complex meetings for notetaking, issuing documentation, creating documentation in standard MS formats, formal minute taking and typed-document creation. You must be fully equipped to undertake minute taking, deliver standard administrative duties as well as providing transcripts and taking instructions from project lead.
- Check, process and produce documentation and data using a range of IT systems including Microsoft Office and service specific packages.
- Telephone duties including answering calls, responding to customer enquiries and taking messages for internal and external calls.
- Support with the Partnerships social media communications and ERSCP website.
- Assist the ERSCP Partnership Business Unit Manager in the development and monitoring of ERSCP assurance activity and project work

Please note that you must be fluent in the English language (as a requirement of Part 7 of the Immigration Act - for the effective performance of this customer-facing role).

East Riding office spaces are only 3 - 6 miles from Hull, 13 miles from North Lincolnshire, 20 miles from North East Lincolnshire, 22 miles from Doncaster, 17 miles from Scarborough and 14 miles from York, with strong access routes via the M62 and A1079.
