**The job itself**:
The Safeguarding, Assessment and Partnerships Hub is a social work service with co
- located colleagues from the Police and Health. We work very closely with other agencies such as Probation, Early Help Services and Education. We respond to requests for service from professionals, family members and members of the public for children and young people who require a social work response.
We are now seeking a motivated and proactive Senior children’s services administrator who is committed to working hard, to help support the needs of the service and support social work colleagues to ensure good outcomes for children and young people.
You will have an eye for detail and should be able to demonstrate effective use of a range of ICT systems / software packages.
You should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as you will be the first point of contact for members of the public and other professionals in relation to children’s safeguarding queries and information.
A high level of customer service is required, as is the ability to maintain confidentiality and deal with sensitive material. Teamwork plays a vital role, as does the ability to meet deadlines and work on your own initiative.
Knowledge of children’s safeguarding is desirable, however a willingness to learn and develop as part of a safeguarding service is vital.
