**Your New Role**

Working within the finance team, you will support colleagues in posting cash receipts and resolving queries with suppliers where necessary, this could be things such as price discrepancies.

You will also be responsible for keeping track of contractual documents, purchase orders liaising with accounts as well as the General Manager.

Your daily duties will include:

- Purchase Ledger Entry and Management
- Cash Receipt Entries
- Credit card - checking and reconciling
- All other payment method reconciliations
- Purchase ledger statements reconciliation
- Purchase ledger invoices input
- Raising order numbers
- Resolving any invoice discrepancies
- Year End Accounts Audit Support
- Elements of Purchasing
- Using the Bespoke system to deliver in stock as well as invoice entry of stock invoices.
- Responsibility of creating Payment Lists for the directors to be processed on a weekly basis.
- General administration duties and supporting accounts
- Stock control

**What you'll need to succeed**

It is likely you will have taken your AAT qualification and have some recent office/accounts based experience. Most importantly you will have a friendly and upbeat personality with the ability to pick up tasks quickly, being team orientated and being keen to pursue an accounting career. An effective and confident communicator able to work in a dynamic and busy team. The ideal applicant will:

- Have experience of Sage 50
- Be AAT qualified or have an equivalent degree
- Be able to work quickly and accurately
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Be competent in Excel
- Be able to develop and maintain relationships
- Have meticulous attention to detail
- Be self-motivated and able to work under pressure
