Liberty has an exciting opportunity for a Bid Writer to join our Bid management team, remote/ hybrid working role for our Head Office located in Knowsley. As we are a national business we have office locations in Havant, Cardiff & Leeds.You will be workingon a full-time, permanent basis working 40 hours per week and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £30,000 to £40,000 depending on experience Plus Benefits.

We are an experienced and innovative Heating and Compliance, reactive/planned maintenance, renewable technology and new build specialist that is committed to putting customers and clients at the heart of everything we do.

Working alongside the Group Bid and Business Development Team, we are looking to recruit a Bid Writer with experience tendering for property services contracts in the social housing sector. We actively tender for a wide range of property services with specialismsin heating and compliance services (gas, electric, renewables, oil, solid fuel, water hygiene) and building repair and maintenance (planned works, repair and maintenance, voids).

**Responsibilities for this Bid Writer role are**:
Enabling the delivery of the future growth strategy of Liberty Group

This position is key in delivering Liberty’s growth targets

Owning and writing the quality responses of tender submissions which define how contracts are delivered in a customer focussed industry leading way

Support end-to-end bid management process by contributing to kick off calls

Assisting the Bid Manager and Bid Co-ordinator with compilation of the wider tender submission

Contributing to tender gateway decisions and adjudications

Preparing for and supporting tender presentations and interviews

Supporting in the identification and assessment of tender opportunities

Keeping accurate records of bid activity

Developing in depth case studies of Liberty’s work at a national level

Maintaining a library of contract examples

Engaging with Liberty’s marketing team to coordinate messaging and support marketing led initiatives

Engaging with Directors, Managers and Subject Matter Experts from around the business to ensure up to date and accurate bid information

Being an effective and collaborative member of the Business Development Team

Supporting the collation of business development progress reports

Leading continuous improvement by continually seeking new industry, technology and bidding best practice and implementing lessons learnt from feedback

Updating the bid content library

Assessing bid feedback from clients to identify areas to improve

Creating of bid supporting documents such as CVs and case studies

Undertaking market and client research for kick off meetings

**What we are looking for in our ideal Bid Writer**:
Demonstrable experience in producing high quality written reports / documents / essays

Experience and skills in the following: Using ICT (predominately Microsoft Office suite), writing successful property services bids, creative writing, OJEU procurement process & creating project plans in Microsoft Project are all desirable.

**This role primarily covers the North West area, however Liberty are a national company so travel may be required as and when needed.**
