Part Time Human Resources Advisor - Newton Abbot - Up to £35k Pro Rata

Well Placed HR are delighted to have been engaged by a highly successful specialist manufacturing business who have enjoyed impressive growth in their business and employee head count. They now seek an HR Advisor to join their people management functionin a newly created role. The role is offered on a permanent contract arrangement at 25hours per week, working Monday - Friday 0900-1400. The role will be based on site located on the outskirts of Newton Abbot.

Reporting to an experienced offsite HR Director and supporting over 50 employees, the position represents a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious HR professional to stamp their mark in a brand new role and introduce new people management policy into thebusiness. Core responsibilities to include:

- Act as the primary site contact for employee queries
- Full management of all aspects of the company’s recruitment process
- Leading the onboarding and induction process
- Taking lead responsibility for the time management systems
- Maintenance of all company people management systems
- Assisting finance function with payroll processing
- Liaising with an external payroll provider with details of new and existing employees and changes to employee remuneration
- Ongoing review of remuneration, rewards, and benefits to ensure that the business remains highly competitive
- Managing a variety of training and development programs
- Ongoing development of staff wellbeing initiatives
- Supporting senior management team that require HR assistance in performance reviews etc.
