Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a full-time teacher to work with a small year 2 class in a high achieving primary school in the Caerphilly area. The school are passionate about creating a supportive learning environment for all staff andpupils, and are seeking an enthusiastic, nurturing, and caring individual who is passionate about the development of children’s education. The school is easily accessible, with public transport links nearby.

**Main responsibilities**
- Create a safe learning environment for pupils
Assess, monitor, and set targets for progression
- Provide feedback to parents or carers
- Contribute to the school self-evaluation and improvement
- Research, develop and implement new teaching materials
- Complete administrative tasks, including printing or photocopying resources for lessons
- Encourage student participation
- Manage pupil behaviour effectively

**Essential requirements**
- Qualified teacher status **(QTS)** obtained either through a Postgraduate certificate in education (PGCE) or a Primary Education Degree (with QTS)
- Disclosure and barring service **(DBS)**
- Registered with the education workforce council **(EWC)**
