Trainee Education Mental Health Practitioner (TEMHP), Band 4 in Mental Health Support Teams (MHST) partnered with East Midlands Academy Trust (EMAT).

Here is a great opportunity to complete a 1 year under or post graduate CBT approach evidence-based intervention course.
The course allows you to offer clinical interventions and group work and parent led work at an Early Intervention level.
Are you currently a Family Support Worker? Working within a health team or within an education setting? Working as a HCA or TA? This opportunity may be for you.
Working hours are Monday-Friday 9-5 with expectation to start earlier and finish late on some occasions.
You will need a valid UK driving license and a car to use for work.
This is a different opportunity - to work in a new project, NHFT partnered with EMAT. You remain employed by NHFT and will be based just in EMAT schools, primarily Prince William School, Oundle.
As a trainee Education Mental Health Practitioner, you will be expected to work under supervision as part of a dynamic mental health team in a creative environment where evidence-based interventions, new ideas, ways of working and supporting children and young people are actively encouraged.
This approach requires flexibility and working in educational settings. The team employ a range of evidence-based interventions for common mental health problems via direct individual and group support for children, young people and their parents.
East Midlands Academy Trust (EMAT) comprises of a family of seven schools and currently includes an all-through school in Northampton, a secondary school in Oundle, and five primary schools in Northamptonshire and Milton Keynes serving over 5,000 pupils through the tenacity and professionalism of 600 colleagues.

You will begin on a training contract, and on successful completion of the EMHP course, trainee EMHPs will be automatically change to Band 5 on Agenda for Change Pay scale. At this stage, you will have a Fixed Term Contract for 2 years.
