The **Upex Group** is seeking an experienced and dedicated **Factory Hygiene Operative **to join our team. As a Factory Hygiene Operative, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our production facility.

Location: Chalfont st Peter

**Salary**: £11.68 Per Hour

**Transport**:Due to our semi-rural location, personal means of transport will be essential**

Your responsibilities will include:

- **Cleaning and Sanitization**: Perform routine cleaning and sanitization of all equipment, machinery, and work areas following established protocols.
- **Waste Management**: Properly handle and dispose of waste materials in compliance with company policies and environmental regulations.
- **Adherence to Standards**: Follow strict hygiene and safety protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- **Record Keeping**: Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, including logs of cleaning solutions used, cleaning schedules, and any issues identified.
- **Collaboration**: Coordinate with other team members to ensure a seamless and efficient cleaning schedule that doesn't disrupt production operations.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Identify opportunities for improving hygiene processes and contribute to the development of new cleaning procedures.

**Requirements**:

- Ensure that all cleaning is done according to food safety standards
- Previous experience in a similar hygiene or cleaning role is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness.
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to strict hygiene and safety protocols.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and stand for extended periods.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends or overtime as needed.
- Knowledge of basic chemical handling and cleaning equipment is a plus.

The job is physically demanding and includes bending, lifting, using a range of cleaning machines and heavy-duty scrubbing. Previous factory hygiene experience is essential. An understanding of hazard analysis and critical control points (HACCP) and COSHH is beneficial.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £11.68 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
