Job Overview

1:1 Tutor required

Please note this young person has requested a male tutor.

Tutors must be self employed, have their own transport, current DBS and tutor insurance.

Location-Poole.

This role requires a strong understanding of curriculum development and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of learners. The tutor will work closely with students and parents to create an engaging and supportive learning environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement individualised lesson plans tailored to a student's learning style and needs.
- Utilise learning technology and various educational resources to enhance tutoring sessions.
- Provide one-on-one tutoring in Maths and English.
- Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes student confidence and motivation.
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as necessary to ensure comprehension and retention of material.
- Maintain classroom management techniques that support a productive learning environment.

**Qualifications**:
Qualified teacher status or teaching assistant with a minimum of GCSE level 4 in Maths and English.

Experience
- Experience in teaching or as a teaching assistant essential.
- Familiarity with curriculum development processes and lesson planning strategies.
- Knowledge of special education practices or experience with diverse learning needs is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey information to students and collaborate with parents and educators.

Pay
- Dependent on qualifications and experience.

**Job Type**: Freelance

Pay: £20.00-£30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 per week
