Fettler / Labourer

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to work alongside and support our existing fettler / pre-dispatch inspector, fettling heavy, mild steel fabrications prior to dispatch.

The role will be predominantly involve:

- Using hand held grinding equipment to clean and remove weld spatter from large fabrications (1-2 tonnes).
- Manually handling mild steel components.
- Using jib-cranes to move work in and out of area.
- Be physically fit.
- Have a good eye for detail.
- Be Reliable.
- Be able to take instruction.
- Have worked in a similar, manufacturing / welding environment.

Hours of work are:

- 07:00 am - 17:30 pm Monday - Thursday (flexible, to be discussed at interview)
- 40 Hours per week

From £12.50 p/hour DOE

Pay: From £12.50 per hour
