Fettler / Labourer

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to work alongside and support our existing fettler / pre-dispatch inspector, fettling heavy, mild steel fabrications prior to dispatch.

The role will be predominantly involve:

  • Using hand held grinding equipment to clean and remove weld spatter from large fabrications (1-2 tonnes).
  • Manually handling mild steel components.
  • Using jib-cranes to move work in and out of area.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be physically fit.
  • Have a good eye for detail.
  • Be Reliable.
  • Be able to take instruction.
  • Have worked in a similar, manufacturing / welding environment.

Hours of work are:

  • 07:00 am - 17:30 pm Monday - Thursday (flexible, to be discussed at interview)
  • 40 Hours per week

From £12.50 p/hour DOE

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From £12.50 per hour
