**The Opportunity**

We have the opportunity for you to join our team as Raw Material Technologist

Some of what you can expect to be doing includes:

- Attend NPD site handovers and initiate the specification completion process with group technical and suppliers.
- Coordinate, approve and maintain raw material & packaging specifications using the software platform Foods Connected and Excel.
- Working closely with group technical to ensure supplier approval is maintained
- To complete food safety risk assessments on Foods Connected working with the site QA and compliance team.
- Maintaining accurate data on a food integrity matrix, using data linked to food quality, food safety and food fraud.
- To set up intake delivery systems, working closely with the raw material QA team to ensure all deliveries can be accepted onto site.
- Coordination of supply chain information working closely with the scheduling and procurement teams.
- To be internally, customer and 3rd party audit ready at all times.
- Reporting to the Senior Raw Material Technologist the role will involve working closely Process Development, QA, Procurement, Scheduling and Group Technical departments.

- Minimum 1 year technical or quality experience in the food industry.
- Experience using material specifications
- Raw material QA experience within the food industry would be desirable
- Accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills with all levels in the business.
- Computer literate with good competency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to make logical and methodical decisions.
