We have a fantastic opportunity for a Junior Accounts Assistant to work in our dynamic team to join The Belfry Hotel and Resort, England’s leading Hotel and Resort. The Belfry is a 319 bedrooms resort with Rosette standard dining, five food and beverage outlets, fantastic Leisure facilities including our 20 treatment rooms & pool and what we are famous for golf.

The Junior Accounts Assistant will assist the Assistant Financial Controller is reconciling the daily business, responding to accounts queries and supporting the other accounts team members on an ad hoc basis. This role is fast paced working with both internal and external people and offers plenty of variety and exposure to different elements of accounting.

The duties of our Accounts Assistant include;
- Post daily revenue and banking journals and review all corrections and adjustments
- Liaising with hotel departments for missing information
- Complete end of day procedures and investigate variances
- Raising invoices and checking company function billing is correct
- Dealing with any queries on invoices received from guests
- Supporting other members of the accounts team when necessary

Our Accounts Assistant will;
- Have basic accounts & credit control experience
- Be computer literate with good knowledge of Excel, knowledge of Opera would be helpful
- Have excellent organisation and attention to detail skills
- Possess strong numeracy and administrative skills
- Have experience working in the hospitality industry

**Salary**

The on target earning potential for this role ranges from £23,462 annual salary, compromising of a base rate of £ 22,235 plus a qualified estimate of £1227 gratuities annually.
