**Automation and Electrical Commissioning Engineer**

An exciting position has become available for a full-time **Automation and Electrical Commissioning Engineer** for a company based in Forfar, Scotland; DD8 3BN.
- At home between projects = **£30,000 per year**:

- non-working time, no requirement to live nearby company offices.
- UK work = **£50,000 pro-rata - 5 days/week**
- Overseas work = **£67,500 pro-rata - 5 days/week, £83,200 pro-rate - 6 days/week**

The above rates naturally depend on the number of weeks that the project lasts for. There is no typical year; but one example could be 3 months at home, 3 months in the UK and 6 months overseas.

**Role Requirements**
- Experience with Automation including PLC, HMI, Data Communication, Drives, etc.
- Electrical/Automation qualification and /or suitable experience.
- Experience with Field Electrics including Lighting, Small Power, Fire Systems, Sensors, etc.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Flexible attitude and willingness to be located at the project site.
- Ability to learn new disciplines.
- Strong motivational and interpersonal skills.
- Good computer skills.

**Role Responsibilities**
- Managing Automation partners with respect to schedule and technical contract.
- Supervising Field Installation and Commissioning Engineers.
- Installation & commissioning of machinery electrical and automation systems.
- Liaison with company design, procurement, project management and installation departments.
- Working closely with Customer representatives to achieve contractual goals.
