We're working with a well-known and extremely established industry giant in their search for an Management Accountant.
As Management Accountant you'll supply the management team with monthly management accounts and associated financial reports. As well as developing internal controls, business intelligence reports, and systems to improve the level of financial reporting inthe Business.
The job;
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Accounting for, and reconciliation of, turnover including intercompany sales
- Reconciliation and valuation of stock
- Master data management
- Complete general ledger entries for cost of sales, accruals, and prepayments
- Management and update of the Fixed Asset Register & accounting for Leasing
- Review, investigation, and correction of general ledger accounts to ensure correct classification of expenditure
- Production of financial reports and variance analysis
- Complete account reconciliations to the agreed frequency, typically monthly
- Analysis of historical financial information to assist the Finance Business Partners
- Supply of information to enable the conversion of management accounts to statutory format
- Supply of data to external auditors and respond to questions
- Assist the Finance Business Partner in the development and update of standard costs
- Complete the weekly cash flow submission
- Completion of weekly fees and stock reporting
- Update internal dashboards to reflect latest forecast KPIs
