Interim Management Accountant / Finance Manager (Rotherham) Contract: 4–6 Months | Start: ASAP | Location: Rotherham | Competitive Day Rate We’re seeking an experienced Interim Management Accountant / Finance Manager to support the finance function of a growing SME subsidiary of a larger group. This is a hands‑on role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys driving financial performance while ensuring robust reporting and controls. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of management accounting, including month‑end close, reporting, and analysis. Provide accurate and timely financial information to support decision‑making. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes. Ensure compliance with group reporting requirements and financial policies. Support and develop the small finance team, implementing process improvements where needed. Partner with operational teams to enhance performance and profitability. The Ideal Candidate: Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with strong management accounting experience. Proven track record in SME or subsidiary environments, ideally within a larger group structure. Confident communicator with the ability to engage both finance and non‑finance stakeholders. Available at short notice and ready to make an immediate impact.
