Job Summary

- Flex Warrington_ are looking for a
_Payroll Officer (part time)_ to join our small but ambitious HR team.
Duties include:
- Maintaining and update payroll records in accordance with agreed procedure
- Ensure the company HRIS is maintained and actions approved
- Administer bonus payments, stock administration and overtime payments, providing relevant data for finance as required
- Ensure payroll costs are within budget, reconcile supplier invoices to ensure accurate billing
- Partner with HR & Finance on compensation activities, forecasts, and ad hoc reports
- Stay up to date with payroll related legislation and any changes in employee compensation and tax and pension regulations to support the compliance of the business within this area
- Prepare the Gender Pay Gap report for the business
- Support the resolution of payroll queries, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
- Assist with administration of P11Ds and End of Year processes.
- Support the HR department with their payment and administrative tasks.
Key Skills and Competencies:
- Self-motivated, flexible with a collaborative working style.
- Proven experience of working at Payroll Advisor level or a standalone payroll position
- CIPP level 3 or above
- Extensive knowledge and use of a HRIS. Workday experience would be extremely advantageous
- Passionate to provide high quality customer service.
- Familiar with Microsoft Excel to an advanced level.
- Ensures attention to detail on all inputs and outputs.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Eligible to work in the UK
