Payroll Officer

Working in the busy finance team of this prestigious client you will be reporting into the Senior Payroll Manager.
- Hours of work 37.5 per week
- Hybrid working may be agreed but some office-based work is required at either Warrington or Leeds - parking available in Warrington.
- Occasional travel to other offices is required.
- Occasional requirement to work additional hours.

The role:

- Timely & accurate processing of payrolls for over 2000 employees which will increase as we continue to grow
- Processing starters, leavers, bonus data, overtime, allowances, company benefits, pensions, statutory payments & deductions, sickness & other absences, etc
- Data analytics
- Customer service - providing a high level of service to both internal & external clients
- Providing support to other team members

The person:

- Experience of In-House Payroll
- Experience in ITrent Payroll system preferred
- Good knowledge of payroll legislation
- Excel & Word skills
- High level of accuracy & attention to detail
- Excellent organisational skills & the ability to prioritise workloads
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment & work to tight deadlines
- Strong team player
- Friendly & approachable personality
- Good communication skills
- Professional approach to work
