**The Team**:
You will be working alongside colleagues who are passionate about providing our clients and their pets with the best possible care and who always strive to make every visit a positive and memorable experience.

Being at the heart of the business, the Client Care Advisors are often the first point of contact for clients so first impressions count. Our Client Care Advisors are highly skilled and professional, offering a world class service to clients and helping to support our vets and nurses in providing a caring and professional veterinary service to the patients.

**The Role**:
We are seeking an enthusiastic, organised and dynamic person to join our dedicated small animal practice team as a Client Care Advisor at our South hub practices in Stapenhill, Stretton, Mickleover and Hilton. The role offers a diverse and exciting opportunity for individuals who thrive on providing excellent client service. You will often be the first point of contact for clients so you must be able to demonstrate genuine compassion and empathy, whilst remaining professional and helpful at all times.

A keen sense of initiative is required, along with excellent client communication skills. Flexibility is essential, as you will be required to work from any of the three practices. Adherence to data protection and client confidentiality is essential. You’ll be working in a fast-paced environment which provides different daily challenges, alongside skilled colleagues who are committed to giving clients and their pets a professional and caring veterinary service. Experience in a similar environment would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be given.

Main duties will include:

- Promoting a positive client journey
- Supporting the clinical team in arranging the best treatment for our patients
- General reception and administration duties
- Retail sales, stock control, cash handling, opening and closing up the practice

You will be working on a flexible contract to suit the needs of the business. The normal hours of work will be an average of 30 hours per week. However, we would be happy to consider a job share. The shifts vary to fit in with business need but will be between 8.30am and 7.00pm weekdays and 8.30am and 6pm on Saturday. This role requires the successful applicant to be able to work on the weekend rota.

The successful applicant must be able to work two weeks on a full-time basis to commence with, to enable full training to be undertaken.

**Required Skills and Experience**:

- Previous client care experience
- Confident with computers

- GCSE in maths and English

- Love of animals

**Desirable Skills and Experience**:

- Knowledge of the veterinary industry
- Experience in Microsoft Excel/Word
- Customer Service training course attendance
- Problem Solving skills
