**THE ROLE**

We are recruiting for a **Programme Manager** within the regulatory team based in Edinburgh, reporting to the Head of Regulation. The Regulatory Programme Manager role is central to the timely and complete submission of complex regulatory submissions.This will include the annual regulatory reporting pack and associated documents, licence conditions and the regulatory business plan submission, identifying resourcing and timing challenges, identifying important points of update and communication and signoff, and establishing board and internal reporting requirements.

We are looking for a self-motivated and inquisitive individual able to ask challenging questions and the commitment to follow through to ensure that any risks on programme delivery are pre-empted and addressed early.

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Programme management of key regulatory submissions and licence changes to ensure that documents are provided by internal stakeholders in a timely manner to be reviewed, signed of and submitted to the regulator and orchestrating the response to any supplementaryquestions the regulator raises, including the management of the regulatory calendar.
- Developing the project management strategy to the delivery of the GD3 business plan, providing a level of flexibility to changing scopes, expectations, and timings as set by the regulator and communicating this with all relevant stakeholders. This willinclude the identification of key strategic paths, pre-empting challenges, and identifying necessary and appropriate authorisation and approvals.
- Programme management of annual reporting requirements, working with internal colleagues to identify where resource availability threatens our ability to deliver the project, to identify how this is going to be resolved and to identify clear actions andmonitoring programmes to pull the delivery back on track.
- Maintain detailed and updated assessment of risks and mitigation strategies including the creation and maintenance of comprehensive project documentation that monitors against the regulator’s stated requirements, identifies the progress on key projectsand records decisions that are taken and clearly actions and monitors delivery of next steps.
- Budget and contracting oversight of key consultancy contracts and internal resource requirements, and the progression through internal processes in a timely manner.
