ACS International Schools are looking for an experienced General Assistant to join the catering team at ACS Hillingdon.

This position is based in the kitchen and the main duties are to look after all goods coming into the kitchen, stores and working in pot wash area completing the washing up.

**Principal Accountabilities**:

- To maintain a clean store and refrigeration in accordance to HACCP schedule.
- Food Hygiene and Food Safety regulations must be adhered to at all the times as per mandatory departmental training in compliance to the Food Safety Act.
- Daily completion of all HACCP Checklists.
- To adhere to Health and Safety Legislation and follow in-house procedures and policies at all the time.
- To be in the Kitchen Wash-up daily depending on deliveries.
- Make sure all deliveries are put away adhering to the FIFO rule.
- Re-assemble and sanitize the machine as first priority, before washing up commences.
- To check chemical levels are adequate and inform line manager if more are needed.
- To ensure pot wash is clean and tidy and outstanding washing up.
- To ensure all work areas are kept clean and tidy at all the time.
- Ensure that all COSSH procedures are adhered all the time.
- Make sure all equipment is cleaned safely and to a high standard.
- To carry out any other reasonable duties as agreed with manager which may include some basic food preparation or taking functions.

**This role is based at ACS Hillingdon working Monday to Friday from 8:45am
- 2:30pm, 27.5 hours per week, term time only**.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
