We are currently looking for a Quality Assurance Supervisor (08:00 - 16:00 with flexibility to work outside of these hours when required) to join our Tornado site based in Lutterworth.

**This is a permanent role Monday - Friday (wirh some flexibility to meet the demands of peak) with a salary range of £30,000 to £35,000 depending on experience.**

**Function**:** Main purpose of job**
- Ensuring the seamless flow of products within the supply chain while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Responsible for developing and implementing robust quality control measures for incoming goods, meticulously inspecting products to guarantee they meet specified criteria.
- Conducting thorough assessments of returned items to determine their condition and deciding whether they can be restocked, refurbished, or if further action is needed.
- Collaborating closely with various departments, and enforcing quality assurance procedures, providing leadership in continuous improvement initiatives.

**Key tasks and responsibilities**

Working closely with Operations, Finance, Transport and IT and through the team, the role holder will:

- Oversee the inspection of incoming goods to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Manage the Returned Quality Check process, assessing the condition of returned items.
- Develop and implement efficient and effective inspection processes.
- Ensure that inspection procedures are consistently followed.
- Establish refurbishing infrastructure.
- Conduct thorough checks on products to verify compliance with quality standards.
- Identify and address any deviations or defects in the products.
- Assess the integrity of products to ensure they meet safety and reliability standards.
- Implement measures to prevent and detect any potential issues that may compromise product integrity.
- Maintain detailed records of inspection results and findings.
- Generate reports on the quality and integrity status of products.
- Collaborate with suppliers to address quality concerns and implement improvements.
- Work closely with other departments, such as production and logistics, to ensure a seamless flow of quality products.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging quality standards.
- Provide training to staff involved in the inspection processes.
- Keep team members updated on changes in quality standards and procedures.
- Ensure that products meet or exceed customer expectations regarding quality and integrity.

Investigate and resolve any quality-related issues or complaints.
