We are looking for a permanent Senior Law Enforcement Officer (SLEO) to join our service. This role requires high levels of understanding across a broad range of legislation and experience of managing front line staff both in person and remotely. You will also have experience of delivering enforcement services within a local authority, or similar setting. All staff must work to the highest standards of customer care and, as part of our commitment to you, we will train you to become accredited under the Community Safety Accreditation Scheme (CSAS) and provide you with a broad portfolio of enforcement tools.

In addition to ensuring that the day-to-day service needs are being addressed, this post will also require a significant amount of joint working within the council and across a range of partner organisations, so experience and strength in partnership work is also essential. **Role Responsibilities**:

- Working with the Law Enforcement Manager and be responsible for the day-to-day management of officers undertaking all related HR duties and, operationally, tasking of them to ensure that service requests are responded to, ASB hotspots patrolled and that all work returns are completed.
- Ensuring all legal proceedings undertaken by the service are quality assured and presented as needed plus you will hold responsibilities to undertake focuses enforcement operations as and when required.
- As manager of a front-line service, you should expect to be out, on the borough, with your teams upwards of 80% of the time.
