**Quantity Surveyor**

Our client is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor who will be responsible for administering multiple maintenance projects across the Estate. The projects are carried out within a framework environment, under the NEC Form of Contract in conjunction withProject Managers and delivery teams. You will provide appropriate, considered commercial services and support that enables the successful delivery of the Work Packages awarded within the Framework across multi discipline projects including civils and facilitiesmanagement.

**Salary**:£55k+ (plus, benefits and hybrid working)

**Quantity Surveyor Duties**:
Our client is currently progressing with master planning and early development of major projects to upgrade its layout and infrastructure, in addition to this they have a wide range of exciting projects including berth modifications, waterproofing, and surfacingto the elevated road system in the eastern docks, HV/LV upgrades across the port plus a range of fire compliance projects across the estate.

**Quantity Surveyor Requirements**:

- Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in Quantity Surveying.
- Good working knowledge and experience of the NEC forms of contract
- Knowledge and experience of, providing commercial support across multi discipline projects including civils, M&E and minor building works.
- Be able to demonstrate experience of working within a project management environment
- High level of expertise in MS Office to include word and excel
- Good understanding of MS Project or similar programme management software
- Demonstrate a keen appreciation of the options that may be used in Commercial management of Contracts
- Understanding of ERP, Tendering, Contract Administration, and document sharing software's
