With planned expansion we are looking for class leaders to join our team. We require flexibility as new classes are being introduced. We are also increasingly being asked to provide school sessions within Glasgow, so the role is evolving and growing all the time. This is, however, a part-time role (& always will be).

You will be provided with everything you need to run your classes. Each half term you will receive lesson plans and activity plans for each week, recipe cards, a list of children attending the classes and a list of ingredients you will need to shop for weekly (you will of course be reimbursed for ingredients).

Advertising, marketing and bookings will be dealt with centrally.

Classes last 1 hour 15 minutes. You will also be paid for preparation and clearing away time. There is great opportunity to increase earnings helping run birthday parties.

Applicants will work on a self-employed basis and need to hold or obtain a DBS. You will also need to hold or obtain a Food Hygiene 2 Certificate as well as have attended a first aid course. We can advise and help you with all of this. You will also need to be a driver and car owner.

We are looking for people who are enthusiastic, passionate about cooking and love working with children. You do not need to be a teacher or a trained chef or have any experience in teaching cooking. We want friendly people who share our ambition to provide quality classes to our wonderful customers.

You will receive a rate per class and there is also great opportunity to increase earnings helping run birthday parties. The roles are part-time so there is plenty of opportunity for a great work / life balance. More than anything, being a Cook Stars class leader is much fun and rewarding.

Pay: From £24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1.25 - 7.00 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- working with children: 1 year (required)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Management: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence and access to car (required)
