We are CH&CO, we’re proud to take a more thoughtful, mindful approach to the food experiences we source, prepare and present. We are recruiting for a General Assistant to work at West point.

Providing a friendly, warm and knowledgeable service to all customers, working alongside a passionate and talented Chef Manager within a site in Peterborough

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

- To prepare and serve all beverages in a timely manner to exacting standards
- To prepare service counters in line with site standards and utilise appropriate merchandising under the guidance of the Chef Manager to ensure that all products are correctly priced, labelled and displayed
- Serve all food to the highest standard and in line with the Company style using the correct tools and presentation techniques
- To assist with any food preparation in kitchen under the guidance of the Chef Manager
- Keep the service areas clean, tidy and presentable at all times
- Clean and wash up equipment, kitchen and service areas as necessary to comply with cleaning schedules
- Present and maintain a professional and friendly image with the client and customers at all times.
- Attend to customer needs in a polite and helpful manner providing assistance where necessary
- Provide information to customers about the food in a knowledgeable and informed manner
- Work with all colleagues in a polite and helpful way to ensure excellent customer service
- To understand and comply with CH&CO and statutory health, hygiene and safety, quality standards including COSHH and HACCP ensuring all tasks are carried out in accordance these standards and to work in a safe and tidy manner at all times
