We currently have an opportunity to join East Suffolk Council's Housing Repairs and Maintenance team as a **Resident Liaison Officer**.

**Your role**

Working within the Housing Maintenance team you will work closely with Housing teams to arrange access to properties for a wide variety of purposes. These can include statutory inspections and servicing, essential repairs, improvement works and surveys. Spending a high proportion of your time visiting tenants and engaging with them, removing the barriers which stop our staff and contractors from gaining access to their homes.

**What you will need**

You will have previous experience in working in a customer focused role and dealing with the public in difficult situations. The ability to communicate with a wide variety of tenants, at times in demanding circumstances - it is essential that you can remain resilient in these situations.

A Level 3 or equivalent qualification is required with this role and good IT skills i.e proficient in Microsoft packages.
