We are looking for a Head of Brand Social and Content for a global Financial Services Organisation
This is a very senior and exciting role which includes working on very high-profile events and managing high profile stakeholders. In this role you will be responsible for managing a small team of 4 and will be responsible for all marketing communications, activity, and channel content as well as brand growth and activities across social media channels.
This role would suit and experienced Head of Marketing from a process heavy background and who is confident, creative, and skilled at managing stakeholders (including agencies) and able to manage very high-profile accounts.
**About the department**
This role sits within The UK Marketing function and is focused on supporting the strategic and revenue growth priorities of the bank. The function focuses on understanding customers and the identification, development and execution of brand marketing strategies, campaigns and activities that support and strengthen the brand and driving for revenue and increase customer value.
The Head of Brand, Social Media and Content role holder is responsible for the end to end delivery of all Brand social media marketing campaign activity across UK marketing.
**The Role**
This role is responsible for ensuring that all social media marketing activity and content, regardless of channel, is aligned to the brand and cohesive. You will be responsible for Brand growth and marketing activities across multiple social platforms and channels. You will be expected to demonstrate a passion for social media and a deep understanding of how brands can create and engage social communities and demonstrate an exceptional knowledge of both the paid and organic social media landscapes, creative best practice for each of the key platforms and paid media planning.
**Your responsibilities will include**:
- Leading and managing the full delivery of social media and content-led marketing campaigns from briefing to delivery across multi channels and across social media platforms
- Management of design concepts, copy and artwork for individual campaigns and ongoing initiatives
- Management marketing budget efficiently
- Overall responsibility for business stakeholder management
- Provide central liaison with segment and product teams to drive relevant marketing briefs which deliver targeted and creative direct marketing, and challenge where applicable
- Deliver fair outcomes for our customers and ensure own conduct maintains the orderly and transparent operation of financial markets
- Ensuring that all Brand marketing campaigns are delivered in a consistent and compliant manner by co-ordinating governance and operational issues, ensuring adherence to Global Standards
- Represent the Brand team internally and externally with clients and other third parties
- Provide constructive challenge to existing practices/proposed initiatives and generate new and innovative solutions to address complex issues facing the UK Function
**About You**
- Evidence of an active role within the UK Marketing leadership team - feedback from management line, peers and stakeholders
- Experience working in relevant market/context. It would be great if you come from a Financial Services or market leading brand
- A Deep understanding of social media marketing principles and media planning
- Experience managing high profile accounts
- Experience of managing campaigns across multi-media and multi-channels
- Ability to work within and adapt to a high-pressured environment with conflicting deadlines
- Creative and able to think outside of the box and with the ability to be able to say no
- Achieved targets and met expectations whilst supporting and encouraging others to do the same
- Ability to navigate a large and complex organisation.
