**Job summary**:
We are recruiting a Head of Contact and Administration to join our Contact and Administration team.

The purpose of this role is to lead and manage all functions within the Contact and Administration Team, delivering a high quality and efficient service. Childcare across England is an essential component of a child’s opportunity to thrive, it also plays an important role in the economic health of the country. The Head of Contact and Administration works to the Principal Officer, Regulatory Support and works very closely with the ARC Regulatory Team and regional Early Years teams.

- Extensive experience in managing multifunctional departments, including complex and high-volume contact and administration operations.
- Managing teams with regulatory accountabilities to achieve Service Level Agreements and KPIs.
- Extensive people management skills, managing conflict, challenging decisions and behaviours, with a proven ability to manage poor performance.
- Proven leadership skills, particularly in managing change, motivating teams and promoting improvement.
- Ability to understand and implement policies and have a thorough understanding of safeguarding requirements especially as set out in ‘the safeguarding and welfare requirements’ section of the EYFS.
- High quality written and verbal communication, influencing and negotiating skills.
- Manage the implementation of programmes and projects in order to deliver defined objectives and priorities with an ability to manage conflicting priorities.
