**Inventory and Stores Control Officer Contract**: Permanent Salary: £23,000 depending on experience Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week. We have an exciting opportunity for an Inventory & Stores Control Assistant to join our Purchasing & Stores Department. As Inventory and Stores Officer you will be providing day to day, Goods-In coordination, effective stores management and operational support within the fast-paced Procurement, Purchasing and Stores department.

You will offer an efficient stock management support service ensuring value for money and eliminating waste. Role Responsibilities include: Working under the guidance of the Inventory and Stores Manager, will assist with the review of stock usage/levels recommendation for clinical locations Manage substantial value of the hospital stock located within stores Accurately receive deliveries and process all paperwork according to company procedures and policies, while at the same time flagging up short delivered goods in relation to KIMS purchase orders To assist with general picking of Consumables proactively for daily operational use by all clinical and non-clinical locations. Using provided electronic systems to accurately generate and release picking list/ issues. Learn and use the hospital’s Purchase to Pay computer system - for ordering and stock/electronic stores management Rotate stock using First in First out (FIFO) method to avoid instances of expired stock.
