Hitachi Energy is looking for a Senior Project Controller to play a pivotal role in driving financial success across our high-voltage service projects.

In this dynamic role, you’ll be a trusted business partner to our project managers, guiding them through every phase of the project lifecycle to achieve financial targets and deliver excellence.

You’ll also be instrumental in strengthening and evolving our project controlling function, enhancing processes, and developing insightful reporting tools that empower decision-making.

**How you'll make an impact**
- Act as a project controller and business partner to project managers, supporting them across all project phases to achieve financial targets.
- Strengthen and develop project controlling as a function within the HV Service unit, including processes and reports.
- Assure that planned and actual project costs, alongside risks & opportunities, are captured and recorded, ensuring timely actions.
- Support project managers in monthly project forecasting and provide input for annual budgets.
- Jointly prepare regular project reviews.
- Drive and seek to optimize project cash flow, revenues, and gross margin contribution together with project managers. Oversees currency risks, tax matters.
- Prepare and analyse monthly/quarterly/annual financial closings.
- Educate project managers with an adequate level of commercial and financial understanding in line with the full cost model.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal guidelines, and internal controls. Perform internal controls under your responsibilities.
- Provide and maintain ERP (SAP S/4 HANA) and IT-based tools and processes for project management.
- Identify process improvements in project controlling and lead continuous improvement projects.
- Contribute to support general controlling activities in the unit.

**Your background**
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business Administration
- CIMA/ACCA Qualified/Part Qualified
- Several years of experience (+5 years) in project or business Controlling
- Proficient in SAP S/4 Hana; experience with Power BI is beneficial
- Strong background in managing multiple stakeholders’ expectations
