**Financial Planning Assistant.The Role**: I am recruiting a Financial Planning Assistant (Client Services Executive, Trainee Paraplanner) who has the diligence and skills required to become a valuable member of the clientfocused financial planning team, supporting with the provision of financial planning services to high-net-worth clients. The successful Financial Planning Assistant (Client Services Executive, Trainee Paraplanner) will be responsible for proactively managingclient relationships and supporting the Financial Planners with the administration required in delivering an exceptional level of service. As well as enjoying a highly responsible and varied role, the successful Financial Planning Assistant will also havethe opportunity, if they so choose, to study for professional exams and progress their career in Financial Planning.

**The Person**: The successful Financial Planning Assistant (Client Services Executive, Trainee Paraplanner) will have exceptional administrative skills, and will be highly organised, methodical and process orientated, with experience of workingin a highly involved and responsible support capacity. They will also be a self-motivated, team player with excellent customer service skills. They are likely to have experience of working in the financial services sector, preferably with an understandingof financial planning, although full training and support will be provided.

**Salary and Benefits**: £27-35,000 (dependant on experience) + benefits including 25 days’ holiday (increasing with service) + bank holidays + generous employers pension contribution + company away days + Critical illness cover + Life insuranceetc. The office is based in Leatherhead (KT22), and we are happy to facilitate **hybrid working** and a degree of **flexible or part-time working if required**(shorter working days, 4-day week etc.).

Financial Planning Assistant (Client Services Executive, Trainee Paraplanner)**, responsibilities include**:

- Assist the Financial Planner with all preparatory client analysis and recommendations
- Pro-actively review the client’s financial arrangements with regard to pension, investment and general insurance policies/plans
- Assist with the preparation of suitability letters and implementation reports
- Draft in-house reports and recommendations for the Financial Planner to check
- Act as a primary point of client contact
- Communicate with clients to obtain all personal financial information
- Assist with booking the Financial Planners’ appointments and attend client meetings as required.
- Fulfil action points arising from client meetings.
- Work with your Client Service Assistant to ensure all work is carried out in a timely manner and all client correspondence is dealt with, within the SLAs
- Take responsibility for keeping accurate and complete client records in the office’s database and fully utilise the computerised diary and task allocation system
- Undertake additional project work, as and when required

Financial Planning Assistant (Client Services Executive, Trainee Paraplanner)**, skills and experience required**:

- Previous experience of working in a professional services organisation - ideally financial services or financial planning, but this is not essential.
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills; methodical, process orientated with a keen eye for detail and the ability to prioritise well and work to deadlines.
- Keen to learn, proactive and self-motivated.
- An excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing, with exceptional customer service skills.
- A strong relationship builder, confident with clients at all levels, and an excellent team player.
- Intelligent and analytical with high levels of numeracy and IT literacy.
