Our client, an established, forward thinking firm of Chartered Accountants are seeking a Financial Planning and Analyst Accountant join their expanding team in Leatherhead, Surrey.

This role has developed due to rapid growth and working within the internal Finance team you will be responsible for running future financial projections, budgeting, forecasting, reporting of P&L variances; cash flow and working capital management; scenarioanalysis and risk management support, project reporting and investment appraisal and assistance with financial input for the firm's strategy.

Duties include:

- Supporting the Director and Head of Finance in communicating financial strategy issues
- Support and contribute to the production of the annual budget and financial strategy
- Monitor adherence to the outcomes set out in the budget
- Provide the Partners with relevant and timely information to enable it to assess performance against the firm's strategy and objectives
- Develop financial KPIs which will be used to assess the success of both the business and financial strategy
- Analyse competitorand market financial information to provide insight to assist with decision making
- Track performance against key targets and outcomes to produce regular management information for Partners
- Develop and refine regular financial reporting to give an overview of business and financial performance
- Highlight trends, key actions and strategic implications
- Forecasting, cash flow analysis and working capital projections
- Produce professional reports and presentations summarising the forecasts for Partners
- Statistical returns, purchase ledger approval, nominal ledger review
- Other ad-hoc duties as required

A good understanding of Microsoft Excel, Word and Dynamics accounting system would also be an advantage.
