**About the role**

We are looking for a Night Porter to join our team The position is part-time and would be ideal for a student however we are ultimately looking for someone who is reliable and hard working

**As a Night Porter in our business, your responsibilities will include**
- As the Night Porter, you will be accountable for all things building, staff and guest.
- Being the face of the business, you will be on first point of contact for customer queries and complaints whilst on duty.
- Managing the Room Service function throughout the night; ensuring consistency and high standards.
- Ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep are maintained throughout the entire building - always
- Supervising the external cleaning team to deliver on our high standards.
- Complying with all health, safety and fire checks and regulations.
- Ensuring all financial procedures are completed and reported accurately.
- Assisting with front office operations including check-in and check-out of hotel residents.
- Ensuring set-up and organisation of bars and restaurant area in line with service requirements.
- You will ensure that EVERY guest has an amazing experience on your watch.
- All other responsibilities required from the senior management team.

**An ideal Night Porter will**
- Have previous hospitality experience in a similar sized property - although full training will be provided for the right attitude and work ethic
- Have shown loyalty and longevity throughout their career.
- Have strong leadership skills, the ability to be able to lead a team to the desired results.
- Be driven and focussed on first class standards across every aspect of the operation.
- Have excellent planning and organisational skills.
- Have excellent personal presentation and be consummately professional at all times.
- Be self-motivated, have the ability to work under pressure whilst remaining positive; both individually and within a team.
- Be creative in problem-solving and have excellent verbal and written communication.
- Have the ability to take direction and work well with a team.
- Show the upmost integrity at all times
- Be friendly, approachable and passionate about delivering great service

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £10.50-£11.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 15 per week
