**Job Summary**

There are 2 roles available (please state your interested position)

20-25 hours per week for both positions:
Job 1) 3 weekdays plus Saturday OR Sunday

Job 2) 2 weekdays plus alternate Saturday AND Sunday (1 weekend on / 1 weekend off rota)

This position requires a proactive individual who already attains barista experience, can manage their time effectively and has a keen understanding of food safety practices.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist in the preparation of food items, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
- Offer Barista service and other beverage products efficiently and to professional standard.
- Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and addressing customer inquiries.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café area, including dining spaces, kitchen, and storage areas.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards at all times.
- Perform basic maths for handling transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Help with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed and reporting low stock levels.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation during busy periods.
- Manage time effectively to complete tasks in a timely manner while maintaining quality.

**Requirements**:

- We require at least 1 year Barista experience
- Experience working in a kitchen environment handling and preparing food items efficiently to a consistently high standard
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and order calculations.
- Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential; prior experience in a similar role is essential.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being able to take initiative when required.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and colleagues alike.
- A passion for food and customer service is highly desirable.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.50-£13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
