As a production operative you will be responsible for working in a team to create our high quality, delicious confectionery. You will learn the art of traditional sweet making and how to present and package the product.

Cooking, cooling and working with all machines. Ensuring all work is carried out safely, whilst working as a part of a team to ensure we meet our quality and efficiency standards. You will also learn how to create our range of sweets using our traditional sweet making processes.

Are you up for a challenge? We provide full on the job training but factory experience is desirable.

**Requirements**:

- We are looking for proactive and enthusiastic production operatives, that are able to work in a fast-paced environment, to join our team.
- All employees are required to always work to our quality and health and safety requirements.
- Experience working within a food production environment is desirable, but not essential.
- Full training will be provided, to allow employees to reach their full potential and achieve a wide range of knowledge, working within a food manufacturing industry.
- Teamwork and great communication skills are essential, but you must also be able to work using your own initiative.

**Duties include**:

- Manufacturing confectionery products using traditional methods
- Measuring & weighing of ingredients
- Operating equipment/machinery
- Packing of products
- Issuing and storing goods and materials
- Ensure machinery is cleaned to a high standard
- Work at a fast, consistent pace

**What we can offer?**

**Experience**:

- Food Manufacturing: 1 year (preferred)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £10.60-£11.00 per hour
