We’re South West Galvanizers, part of the Wedge Group, leaders in galvanizing solutions. Our group has almost 150 years of experience and is the UK’s largest hot dip galvanizing operation.
We are now looking for Production Operatives to join our growing team in Crediton. Opportunities are available on rotating day shifts and the night shift.

**The Role**
As a Production Operative, you’ll carry out a range of tasks to support our galvanising operations.
Working in line with H&S requirements, you’ll learn how to operate galvanizing and finishing equipment and overhead cranes. You will also complete manual handling duties and learn how to correctly and safely unload steel from vehicles.
**About You**
While no experience is required, to be considered as a Production Operative, you’ll need:

- Good communication skills
- A positive attitude
- The willingness to learn
- A strong work ethic
Experience of operating galvanizing and finishing equipment and overhead cranes would be desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
The working hours are available on a rotating shift system: 06.00 - 14.00 and 14.00 - 22.00, alternating weekly. Night shifts run from 10pm - 6am Monday to Thursday and 10pm to 3:30 am on Fridays.
Other organisations may call this role Shift Production Operative, Production Technician, Shift Operative, Shift Manufacturing Operative, Manufacturing Technician, or Operative.
