**Post Title**: Research Impact Coordinator**SBU/Department**: Research & Enterprise Services, Office of the Vice-Chancellor (OVC)**FTE**: 0.5 FTE (working 18.5 hours per week)**Duration of Contract**: Fixed Term to 31 March 2029**Salary**: UH6 £32,296pa pro rata to £37,999pa pro rata by annual increments on achieving designated skills and experience**Annual Leave**: 25 days pro rata plus standard public holidays an additional 4 days including the closure of our office between Christmas and New Year**Location**: de Havilland Campus (Maclaurin or Enterprise Hub)- The Impact Team - part of the newly created Directorate of Research & Enterprise Services - is seeking a motivated individual to support the development of research impact within the university as we build on our excellent results for impact in REF2021, and the award of two UKRI Impact Acceleration Accounts in 2022 and 2023 respectively. We are a friendly and inclusive team focused on increasing and demonstrating the social and economic benefits of the University’s wide-ranging research portfolio.**Main duties and responsibilities**
- The Research Impact Coordinator will act as a point of contact for all matters relating to the development and monitoring of the social and economic impact of research at the University of Hertfordshire and support academic and research staff in the development of research impact. You will support case study leads and other team members in the development, structuring, drafting and editing of impact case studies in conjunction with academics, other team members and external copywriters as required and develop close working relationships with other Professional Services teams (such as: Marketing and Communications; Finance; Procurement, etc) in order to signpost people to the right support, raise the visibility of research and share knowledge between teams.**Skills and experience required**
- Experience of working in an office, editorial or research environment, or similar is essential for this role. Experience of developing research impact and developing REF impact case studies is desirable. You will have the ability to receive, understand and interpret complex regulations and be a credible source of information on complying with external and internal requirements and the ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with academic and professional colleagues, and external stakeholders, with credibility to engage and influence.**Qualifications required**
