About the role

You will have demonstrable experience of delivery and support for a range network solutions, covering WAN, LAN, DC, WIFI and security. You will be able to provide support and response to escalated complex 3rd line technical issues within your areas of expertise along with effectively managing business and customer expectations.

**Qualifications**:
What do we need from you?
- Knowledge/Expertise of designing, configuring and troubleshooting Local Area Networks - Cisco, Juniper, Extreme, Meraki
- Knowledge/Expertise of designing, configuring and troubleshooting end user Wide Area Networks, including experience with OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP
- Knowledge/Expertise of designing, configuration and troubleshooting security solutions, including stateful firewalling, site to site VPNs, remote acces VPN’s and NAT. and Next Generation features. Primarily focused on Cisco ASA’s / Palo Alto but Juniper SRX also pertinent
- Knowledge/Expertise of designing, configuration and troubleshooting advanced security solutions, utilizing Cisco ISE, or Aruba Clearpass to provide extensive authentication services or NAC

It would be advantageous (not essential) for you to have:

- Knowledge/Expertise of designing, configuring and troubleshooting service provider MPLS services. Focusing on Cisco/Juniper MPLS and Service Provider BGP configurations
- Knowledge/Expertise of designing, configuring and troubleshooting Cisco or Aruba Wifi Citrix solutions
- Knowledge/Expertise of designing, configuring and troubleshooting network management platforms such as Cisco Prime or Aruba Clearsight
- Knowledge/Expertise of Network Monitoring technologies such as SNMP and packet analysis
- Knowledge/Expertise of designing, configuring and troubleshooting Cisco Data Centre solutions such as Cisco Nexus switches and Cisco UCS environments
- Knowledge/Expertise of designing, configuring and troubleshooting Cisco Quality of Service
- Knowledge/Expertise of designing, configuring and troubleshooting F5 LTM loadbalancers
- High level knowledge of compute / hypervisor platforms such as VMWare, MS Hyper-V, Storage Replication etc
- Knowledge/Expertise of DNS and Public IP addresses
