We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced learning professional to join our market leading and knowledgeable team. As the Principal Consultant your primary role is to develop close working relationship with key stakeholders both internally and externally to allow you to design and deliver bespoke, creative digital learning platforms.

We are looking for someone with strong Moodle expertise as this is the primary platform that our clients use, we would like someone with an in-depth knowledge of online learning and a passion for delivering outstanding creations for clients.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Partner with clients and stakeholders to understand current and future learning needs, to identify opportunities and devise solutions that drive transformation in learning culture and capability.
- Advise clients and stakeholders on the development and exploitation of Moodle based learning capabilities to provide practical, engaging and innovative learning solutions.
- Help to identify and win new business opportunities for Capita services with new and existing clients in partnership with our client team; develop close working relationships with senior members of the Client team to ensure efficient and effective delivery.
- Support the ongoing development of Capita Learning’s customer value proposition (CVP), particularly in the Defence sector, by working in collaboration with the Capita Learning team to enhance our offering and ensure a joined-up, systemic learning transformation offer that draws on all our strengths.
- Collaborate with the Capita Learning team, client and stakeholders to develop, implement and maintain solutions, taking accountability for the development and execution of agreed client development plans.
- Educate clients and stakeholders on the opportunities presented by Learning Management Systems (LMS) to transform education, particularly through improved learning design, analytics, and assessment options.
- Accountable for client satisfaction and client learning outcomes; Work with clients to develop evaluation programmes which demonstrate success and measurable outcomes.
- Collaborate extensively with Capita Learning teams to ensure seamless delivery of client activity. Develop cross-functional teams to deliver against specific client or industry needs.

**What we’re looking for**:

- High level of understanding of Moodle based learning systems.
- Significant experience as a learning consultant including the utility of Learning Management Systems and Learning Experience Platforms.
- Delivering against financial targets.
- Track record of delivering high performance in a team environment.
- Expertise in the design, development and implementation of learning solutions.
- A background in the UK Defence sector would be beneficial
- Ideally some knowledge of the Defence Learning Environment (DLE) or its open-source components however full training on this will be given
