Position Overview:
As a Senior ERP Specialist in Dynamics 365 (D365) for a manufacturing company, you will play a critical role in implementing, maintaining, and optimising the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the D365 platform effectively supports and enhances the company's manufacturing operations, supply chain management, and business processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, finance, and other business units, to drive system improvements, provide technical expertise, and deliver a seamless ERP experience.

Key Responsibilities:
1. ERP Implementation:

- Lead the implementation of the D365 ERP system for the manufacturing company, including system configuration, data migration, and user training.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and timelines, ensuring successful project delivery.
- Customise and configure the D365 modules to align with the company's manufacturing processes, supply chain workflows, and business requirements.
- Conduct system testing, identify and resolve issues, and provide user support during the implementation phase.

2. System Maintenance and Support:

- Monitor and maintain the D365 system, ensuring its stability, performance, and availability.
- Investigate and resolve system-related issues, troubleshoot problems, and provide timely resolutions to minimise disruptions to manufacturing operations.
- Collaborate with the IT team to perform system upgrades, patches, and enhancements, ensuring compatibility and minimising downtime.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, addressing inquiries, troubleshooting user errors, and delivering training as needed.

3. Process Optimisation and Continuous Improvement:

- Identify opportunities to enhance manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and operational efficiency through system optimisations and configurations.
- Analyse business requirements, gather user feedback, and recommend system enhancements or customisations to better align D365 with company needs.
- Stay updated with the latest features and functionalities of D365, assess their suitability for the manufacturing company, and propose their implementation when appropriate.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows, improve data accuracy, and drive system utilisation across the organisation.

4. Data Management and Reporting:

- Ensure accurate and consistent data entry, maintenance, and integrity within the D365 system.
- Develop and maintain relevant reports, dashboards, and analytics to provide actionable insights for decision-making and performance tracking.
- Collaborate with business units to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement monitoring mechanisms to measure ERP system effectiveness.
- Support data analysis initiatives and participate in data migration projects when required.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Extensive experience (3+ years MIN) in ERP system implementation and administration, with a focus on Dynamics 365.
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and industry best practices.
- Strong understanding of D365 modules such as Finance and Operations, Supply Chain Management, Production Control, Inventory Management, and Quality Management.
- Proficient in configuring and customising D365 modules, workflows, and reports.
- Experience with data migration, integration, and system upgrades within the D365 environment.
- Ability to analyse complex business requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and implement effective ERP solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot system issues and propose appropriate resolutions.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Certifications in Dynamics 365 or related ERP systems are highly desirable.
