We are looking for a **Warehouse Team Leader** to join us at our site for Waitrose in Reading, on a full-time, permanent basis. Working the PM shift, 2pm to 10pm, any 5 days out of 7, you’ll provide leadership and guidance for your warehouse team, ensuring that the team have all the tools they need to do their role and that the operation runs smoothly.

**Pay, benefits and more**:
We’re looking to offer a salary of up to **£31,200.00** inclusive of “Lates” premium plus an additional £42 for working a Sunday. In addition, we also offer 33 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. You’ll have access to a variety of high street discounts, as well as a cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension and many other perks.

**What you’ll do on a typical day**:

- Lead your team in a fast-paced picking operation
- Support with all 1-2-1’s and appraisals
- Support the shift manager with engaging with the team and reacting to the varying inbound workloads
- Lead the team on health & safety, showing good working practices, as you’ll be responsible for keeping all our operational processes fully compliant whilst keeping your people safe

**What you need to succeed at GXO**:

- Good communication skills
- The confidence to challenge the norm and share best practice throughout our team at site
- Flexible to support team and shift manager, maybe some extra hours
- Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous
