**An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our property management team in the day to day running of our residential property portfolio located across the North East, from Newcastle to Durham.**

**We are not your typical high-street letting agent; we manage only our own properties, and those for select clients. With a portfolio of high-quality, long-term rentals, and a relatively small team along with a good mixture of in and out-of-office work, the role provides much variety and flexibility.**

**No prior lettings experience required. **We look favourably on applicants with skills and attributes acquired outside the industry that can be applied in lettings. This is a great opportunity to start a career in lettings.

The role is Monday to Friday, with some flexibility available if required.

Full time, 37.5 hours a week.

**The role** will consist mainly of overseeing all routine and non-routine maintenance operations that arise within our lettings portfolio. This will be a new role within the company, so the successful applicant will be able to build-out the role and systems as they see fit. This will involve great organisational and communication skills, as issues also need to be well communicated to our clients.

We're a small, friendly team, and all muck-in to help each other out so there may be some crossover with the lettings side from time to time. To summarise:

- Arrange and oversee all routine and non-routine maintenance operations.
- Schedule contractor visits for repairs and quotes.
- Oversee emergency maintenance operations alongside our out of hours team.
- Over-the-phone diagnosis and repairs with tenants.
- Provide clear reports of faults and any incurred maintenance expenses to clients.
- Oversee and lead one-time projects as they arise.
- Invoicing, billing, and payments, including some basic book-keeping.
- Conduct property inspections and arrange repairs accordingly.
- Office administration.
- Ensuring relevant certification is up to date, and all regulations are adhered to.
- Competent use of Microsoft Office. We use Arthur Online, Inventory Base, Zoopla, Advanced Rent/Vouch.
- A full clean driving licence.
- Access to own vehicle.
- Good customer service skills.
- **No prior lettings experience required.** However, prior work experience will be looked at favourably. Ideal for someone looking to start a career in the lettings industry
