**Marketing Manager**
**Core Responsibilities**:
- Writing and proofreading copy for the website, social media, press releases and marketing material
- Liaising and networking with a range of stakeholders including customers, colleagues, suppliers, journalists and partner organisations
- Sourcing and coordinating advertising opportunities in the press - local, regional, national and specialist publications, both online and digital and managing target press relationships
- Developing and evaluating marketing plans and managing budgets
- Organising and attending events such as conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions with involvement in directing food and beverage, wedding, people and venue photoshoots
- Designing and implementing a proactive social media strategy including undertaking reactive activity as and when required including _evenings and weekends_.
- Responsible for reproducing, updating and printing all internal marketing materials as required by departments including collateral and outlet menus.
- Managing the marketing material stock and photography library and managing and updating our profile and imagery on all OTA and third-party websites maximising the marketing and advertising opportunities available.
- Delivering the company Gift Voucher programme including creating and distributing vouchers, updating gift experiences on the website and designing marketing campaigns to deliver against Gift Voucher sales targets.
- Assisting with the implementation of the company’s CSR programme including helping to drive community engagement initiatives across the business
- Supporting the Sales teams with presence and support at key internal and external events _including evenings and weekends._
- Providing other general administrative support.
**Key Skills - essential**
- Proficient in operating an Apple MacBook, Adobe InDesign and Photoshop.
- Advanced IT skills including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Office.
- Proficiency in promoting campaigns across social media channels
- Ability to manage and deliver multiple projects simultaneously without adjusting timescales.
- Attention to detail
**Key Skills - desirable**
- Web design experience including HTML
- Experience of developing content for SEO.
- Knowledge of GDPR legislation.
- Experience of managing Google PPC campaigns.
- Experience in the hospitality industry.
- Skills in digital metrics and Google Analytics
