**_Role Overview:_**:

- To deliver sales growth by hunting and acquiring new customers selling products and service packages whilst building a consistent future pipeline of new business. This role will also include the booking of quality appointments by understanding the customers' needsand acting as a trusted advisor to secure a sale or appointment for the field sales agents. Tactically targeting specific customers via self-generated leads or marketing campaigns, delivering against a set of agreed objectives in line with sales strategy.This is achieved by having excellent telephone and communication skills, with clarity, confidence, and professionalism in all customer interactions._
**_A day in the life of a Telesales Consultant with us at PHS will involve:_**:

- _Calling prospect customers to win new business via self-generated leads, targeted customer data and supported by marketing campaigns. _
- _Achieving set period, quarterly and annual targets and objectives. _
- _Working with your supervisor to develop and strategically plan to win new business from targeted competitors and customers. _
- _Accurately forecast and deliver against revenue targets. _
- _Focusing on the effectiveness, efficiency, and quality of sales activity not just the quantity (closing ratios, lead to contract ratio and DMC ratios). _
- _Closing the deal or pass prospects/leads to the relevant Field Sales Consultant. _
- _Using the CRM system to effectively record, manage and develop opportunities. _
- _To always look to improve the sales process and the way things are done. _
- _To focus on the root cause of the problems and help identify ways to solve the customers problem or save them money. _
- _To Champion the sales strategy ensuring the customer is at the heart of what we do. _
- _Help to promote a culture of excellence in respect of customer service, quality, and improvement._
- _An excellent communicator _
- _Builds rapport with customers easily over the telephone. _
- _A commercially savvy and analytical thinker. _
- _Can spot opportunities and capitalise on them quickly. _
- _Outstanding questioning techniques._
- _Demonstrable understanding of sales methodologies._
- _Demonstrable experience in delivering against new business growth targets._
- _IT Literate with proven experience of using CRM (preferably Salesforce). _
- _Proven track record in a hunter tele-sales role ideally in the industry. _
- _Knowledge of the waste and recycling industry desirable but not mandatory as full training will be given. _
- _A team player who thrives in a demanding sales environment. _
- _Resilient and tenacious._
- _Someone who has challenge respectfully, constructively, and effectively._
