Associate Marketing Specialist

We are currently seeking an Associate Marketing Specialist to join our Brand Marketing Team. Our offices are based in Newbury, but we would consider someone who would wants to work remotely and visit us in Newbury now and then.

**Job Summary**:
Takes a key role in executing B2B lead generation marketing campaigns from inception to delivery to reporting, using direct and digital marketing techniques. Helps deliver on demand generation tactics, such as: events, webinars, content creation, direct mail, print & digital media and social media. Collaborates cross-functionally and builds strong relationships with Marketing, Product, Sales, and Customer Success to provide inputs and insights to be used in marketing campaigns. Supports and assists the International Marketing Manager in developing the strategy for European and international marketing, driving marketing initiatives forward and raising the marketing team’s profile globally.

**Key Responsibilities & Duties**:

- Acts as a key stakeholder in the detailed tactical execution and project management of multi-channel demand generation programmes.
- Supports sales team on ABM style campaigns, identifying target audiences and segments, lead identification, lead routing and appropriate follow-up.
- Is key in supporting the events calendar and the marketing, planning, organisation, lead follow up and reporting of each event, whether they are virtual or physical.
- Collaborates with Product and Content teams to help develop and create engaging, sales enablement content as well as demand generation programmes across branding, product launches and promos etc.
- Actively makes suggestions on how to improve marketing processes and infrastructure and acts on them.
- Acts as an extension of the brand + creative team, maintaining a consistent and sharp narrative throughout our internal and external communications

**Education**:
An undergraduate degree (or international equivalent) with a focus in Marketing, Communications or related discipline.

**Experience, Skills and Key Competencies**:
**Essential**:

- 1-3 years of B2B marketing experience, preferably in a software or SaaS environment, but not essential
- A track record of taking a key role in B2B marketing campaign delivery and tracking, with strong ROI in terms of campaign success
- Experience in events marketing, planning, organisation, lead follow up and reporting
- Experience in marketing automation systems (ideally Hubspot), CMS & CRM systems and lead tracking/reporting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required including the ability to write marketing copy
- A self-motivated and proactive, hands on approach required, with the ability to work independently and use initiative
- Ability to effectively communicate and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders in a highly cross functional team environment
- The ability to work within a global team balancing local context with global goals
- Strong project management experience, organisational and planning skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects at one time in a fast pace environment, with a focus on achieving results

**Desirable**:

- Primary language spoken is English, with multilingual capability in German and/or French highly desirable, but not essential
- Experience creating paid advertising campaigns across Google, LinkedIn and Facebook ad networks highly desirable
- Knowledge of the automotive industry desirable, but not essential

**Special Position Requirements**:

- Travel for this position is rare currently but could be required for tradeshows etc. post pandemic.

Pay: From £24,000.00 per year
