Finance Business Partner

We are currently delivering a significant level of growth and are looking to appoint a Finance Business Partner on a full-time basis at an exciting time of opportunity and expansion working across both the Finance and Operations teams. This role is office-based, and reports directly to the Head of Finance.

The Finance Business Partner will build partnerships with key business areas and be responsible for producing and providing monthly management accounts for the profit centres, undertake financial analysis, report on any financial trends and recommend improvements to support the profit centres with budgeting, forecasting, reporting of the monthly results and opportunities for growth.

The Finance Business Partner role would suit a fully qualified and experienced Accountant and Business Partner who is able to demonstrate a strong track record of working as a valued partner to the business.

**As the Finance Business Partner, your key responsibilities will include**:

- Managing and coordinating month-end P&Ls and reporting for various profit centres.
- Challenge and provide insightful analysis of the monthly results against budgets and forecasts.
- Organising and attending regular finance review meetings covering P&L, invoicing, cashflow and balance sheet.
- Review and keep forecast models up to date to provide accurate and insightful information to the profit centre managers and finance team, particularly trend analysis, projections and predictive modelling.
- Prepare the monthly KPI reporting and support the business units to continuously improve their KPI reporting.
- Highlighting opportunities for improvement including the existing control environment and business processes.
- Work cross-functionally with other departments to provide financial analysis and support for business initiatives and projects.
- Communicate financial information to non-finance stakeholders across the business in a clear and concise manner.
- Assist with the co-ordination of the annual budgeting process across the group, providing insight and analysis into the key year-on-year movements.

**What success looks like in this role**:

- Building an active partnership with all stakeholders across business operations and finance providing real-time support and analysis.
- Supporting the Profit Centre managers with implementation of business processes and insightful variance analysis on the results to drive business growth and maintain margins.
- Challenging the monthly results, forecasting and budgeting to drive performance.
- Implementation of improvement and efficiency initiatives in internal processes.

**Core skills & experience we are looking for**
- Proven Finance, Strategic Business Partnering experience, working in a similar Finance Business Partner role.
- Qualified Accountant, and construction / property experience would be a benefit.
- Highly motivated and resourceful.
- Strong communicator, capable of influencing internal and external parties.
- Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
