- **Responsibilities**_

The Head of Compliance is responsible for coordinating and overseeing compliance towards external regulations, customer contracts and internal policies and procedures regarding the confidentiality, integrity and security of its information assets.

**Compliance function**:

- **Identify **compliance risks in the business operations
- Ensure personnel **training**on compliance & risk related to the organisations role as a Payment Institute (AISP)
- Ensure the organization, its products & services are managed in line with current **legal & regulatory requirements**:

- **New Product Approval Process** - responsible for feeding legal & regulatory requirements into the process & risk analysis.
- Participate in **special interest groups** ISC2 ISACA Data privacy virtual conferences and information from EDPS Cloud security and Google FinTech group
- Ensure **reporting to regulators** is timely and correct

**Information Security**:

- Own the Information Security Management System (**ISMS**)
- Coordinate **formal risk assessments** (security, operational, regulatory) to identify new or previously unknown threats and vulnerabilities.
- Assure that **connections to third parties** are managed per information security & regulatory compliance requirements
- Ensure **background checks** are carried out on potential employees who will have access to systems, networks, or data. Ensure new joinee **training** & annual retraining of all employees
- Facilitate **internal & external audits** for information security and regulatory compliance
- As Central Function Manager, ensure firm does not get involved in money laundering or financing of terrorism
- Experience working in a compliance role
- Experience working in fintech or financial services
- Strong regulatory knowledge
- Business is global so familiarity with multiple jurisdictions regulators, in particular Sweden, UK, USA, would be beneficial
