**Hours **39 Hours per week + 1 weekend in 5

**Working Pattern **Monday-Friday 7:45am-5:15pm

Weekend rota 7:45am-12:45pm every other weekend, at an enhanced rate of pay

**Main Responsibilities**:

- To ensure Health and Safety and Compliance is a priority in everything we do
- To lead and develop a team carrying out various waste disposal and recycling activities associated with the day to day operation of the Flusco site
- To assist in supervising and managing vital processing areas in order to maximise the value to the business

A flexible approach to work and working hours is required. A typical week would consist of 45 hours Monday to Friday, starting at 7:45am each day however, this will vary depending on the need to meet specific operational requirements.

A full driving licence is essential for this role.

**Essential Qualifications**
- Full Driving Licence
- IOSH Managing Safely
- Plant Qualifications (Loading shovel, excavators, wheeled and tracked, loadalls and FLT)
- Supervisory experience (ideally but not necessarily acquired with the Waste Industry)
- COTC’s in Transfer Operations/Landfill (or a willingness to undertake training to achieve this standard)

We specialise in providing customers with comprehensive waste management packages and solutions to ensure that waste is being dealt with in a compliant, efficient and environmentally friendly manner. Employing 280 staff at 20 locations across Cumbria, our customer base also reaches from the Scottish Borders, across to Northumberland and down to Lancashire.

Our customers range from single holiday lets to property management companies, and corner shops to industrial factories. We have in-house experts and an extensive range of over 50 fleet that enable us to tailor solutions to meet exact customer requirements.

Our operational sites consist of four materials recycling facilities (MRFs), a liquid waste treatment plant, two landfill sites, aggregate recycling plant, a quarry and a hazardous waste transfer station.
